An evening of books and beer, as Mark Leslie celebrates the official launch of ONE HAND SCREAMING: 20 Haunting Years. Get your hands on the chilling new book that’ll get you in the mood for the Halloween season while sipping on the exclusive craft beer (ONE HOPE SCREAMING) inspired by its pages.

This is a FREE event, but space is limited, so RSVP to get your free ticket. (Options to add-on pre-purchase the book or the book + beer on draft are available with your free ticket)

OCT 6, 2024 – STRATFORD, ON – FOR THE LOVE OF BOOKS – Stratford Book Fair and Craft Market

Location: Stratford Country Club, 53 Romeo St. N., Stratford, ON

From 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM join Mark and several other authors and creative craftpersons for a day of literary fun. Mark will have copies of ONE HAND SCREAMING available to sign and sell.

OCT 10, 2024 – OTTAWA – SPOOKY BOOK LAUNCH

Location: The Spaniel’s Tale Bookstore, 1131 Wellington Street West, Ottawa, ON

Join us for a spooky, candlelit evening to celebrate the launch of Mark Leslie’s new book, One Hand Screaming. Mark will also be signing copies of his true ghost story book Creepy Capital. Doors open at 6:30pm, event (brief talk and spooky stories) begins at 7pm. This is a free event, however, RSVPs are required.

OCT 12, 2024 – CAMBRIDGE, ON – BOOK SIGNING

Location: Indigo Cambridge, Cambridge Centre, 355 Hespeler Rd Unit 8, Cambridge, ON

OCT 17 thru 20, 2024, NIAGARA FALLS, NY – WORLD FANTASY CON

Location: Sheraton Niagara Falls, 300 3rd St, Niagara Falls, NY

While there won’t be an event specific to One Hand Screaming taking place at World Fantasy Con I will have eBook cards available to sign (and sell) and will be on a couple of panels. And you’ll also likely regularly find me at the bar chatting with other writers.

OCT 26, 2024 – HAMILTON, ON – BOOK SIGNING

Location: Lime Ridge Mall, Coles, 999 Upper Wentworth St, Hamilton, ON

Signing copies of One Hand Screaming and Haunted Hamilton (true ghostly tales of the Hamilton area) between 2 PM and 6 PM.

OCT 29, 2024 – KITCHENER/WATERLOO – BOOKS, BOOs, AND BEERS

Location: Arabella Park Beer Bar, 740 Belmont Ave W, Kitchener, ON

Get ready for a frightfully fun evening as we tap a keg of ONE HOP SCREAMING, a spine-chilling new brew from Counterpoint Brewing, crafted in honor of local author (and long-time Arabella patron) Mark Leslie’s eerie new horror collection, ONE HAND SCREAMING.

Join us for a night filled with creepy vibes, including haunting music, chilling true ghost stories, a reading from one of Mark’s terrifying tales, Halloween-themed trivia, and mystical Tarot readings. Plus, there will be spooky door prizes for those brave enough to attend!

Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the spirit of Halloween with ghoulish drinks and eerie entertainment.
